Outside: 100% pure wool. Water and stain repellant, breathable, durable, thermoregulating.

Inside: 100% pure hemp. Super breathable, lightweight but strong, naturally bacteria and odour resistant.

Footbed: natural cork covered with 100% pure wool felt for an anti-microbial and fresh environment.

Outsole: Made from natural latex with superior flexibility, high durability and strength to keep you on sound footing.

Laces: 100% Lyocel natural fibers made from the eucalyptus tree with natural cellulose tips.

Rain: water repellant for mild rain and splashes (water repellency may wear out so we recommend you re-apply the water-repellent treatment with the Earthbound™ Eco-Dry spray)

Snow: Emphasised grooves on the bottom of the outsole improve the grip in snowy conditions. An added layer of cork thermo-insulation inside the outsole provides protection from both hot and cold grounds.

These sneakers feature: medium-thickness thermoregulating wool fabric for optimal temperature regulation. The fabric if weaved with a large diameter yarn which makes it very breathable.

Human feet come in all shapes and sizes. Our sneakers are optimised for a regular or average foot width.

Comfort — supportive, not soft

Designed by the principles of ergonomy, the cork footbed inside distributes weight along a greater surface creating a felling of softness and support without the need for soft plastic foams.

Flexible

The natural latex sole is a remarkable combination of flexibility and superior grip keeping you on firm ground while adapting to the surface.

Long-lacing design for a controlled fit

Inspired by hiking boots, the long-lacing system wraps the fabric gently around your feet letting you precisely control your fit.

Heel drop

This sneaker has a heel-to-toe drop of arround 5mm. This is not a zero-drop shoe.

Breathable

The inside of the sneaker is made from a pure 100% hemp textile, wicking away moisture and maintaining a healthy and dry environment.

We are using large-diameter yarns to weave a mesh structure with thousands of small gaps permitting water-vapour to pass through and away from your feet.

Stinky feet season is over

• Cork contains a natural substance called “subherin” which makes it resistant to odours, bacteria and fungi.
• Wool contains a natural substance called “lanolin” which protects it from bacteria, water and stains.
• Our hemp is completely free of chemicals and naturally antimicrobial.

Low maintenance

All our sneakers come protected with a water and stain repellent nano-coating. This coating is 100% natural and is completely harmless to the environment and to human health. This protection may wear out with usage so we recommend you re-apply the coating from time-to-time with the Earthbound™ Eco-Dry spray.

Water Repellence

All Earthbound™ sneakers come protected with a water-repellent coating which is completely natural, perfectly safe for the environment, human health and any type of material.

How to Care for Your Earthbound™ Sneakers

To maintain the beautiful colour and appearance, we recommend gentle vacuuming with a soft nozzle. Pure wool is antistatic and does not attract dirt like other fabrics. The fabric is also water repellent, so spillages are slow to penetrate the fabric.

For all the dust and mud stains, leave the stains to dry and vacuum clean them. After vacuuming, use a clean and soft shoe (or tooth) brush.

For stains always soak up the liquid with a white kitchen towel as soon as possible. If the stain has dried on, remove as much of it as possible by vacuuming. Most stains and dirt can be removed using an ordinary pH-neutral detergent diluted in lukewarm water at normal strength.

Over time white dust will appear on the surface of the rubber outsoles. This is a natural process of curing of rubber and you can remove it with a soft cloth dipped in olive oil or baby oil.
